Hey, welcome. I’m Markus Lloyd, poet. Well, this is where you’ll find my poems, published and unpublished. Few years back, I was being published in quality magazines in the UK regularly. I don’t write as much poetry anymore, finding time has become a great issue. I do write, always, checkout my other websites (links across the page - They Called Me Jackanory being an ongoing prose project). I’ve also started being the artist I studied to be (see Artists Block and kolumboo (new version, original and sequel, kolumboo 2). Brief bio: I spent the first 20 years of my life in South Wales (I’m from Llanharan). I went to WSCAD in Farnham, doing Fine Art - Painting. I’ve lived in Wiltshire and Hampshire (one sojourn back to Wales). I’m married to the amazing Amy, we work at aspex in Portsmouth (contemporary art gallery). You can contact me here. I’ve begun to include audio versions alongside the poems. It’s a slow process, it will take a deal of time.

Poems that didn’t make it into magazines, after doing the rounds, and poetry I’ve only published at markuslloyd.com (exclusive?!). It’s worth mentioning, I’m never done with a poem, they find a form, a certain stability, but always are plastic - I often return and rework, take cuttings or bastardize them.
